A LEIGH group is making a song and dance about International Women's Day.
The Well Women Centre is inviting ladies to join them at the Derby Rooms, Leigh Library, for a fun day.
This year's theme is based on unlocking talents and will provide an opportunity to try out new skills in a safe environment.
A spokesperson for the centre said: "You don't have to be a Diana Ross or Ginger Rogers. We don't even mind if you're tone deaf with two left feet, just come along."
The singing workshop is designed to be accessible to all with songs being chosen and arranged to inspire people of different abilities. No-one will be asked to sing alone.
Dance will include Latin and Arabic and will be for beginners.
"A Day of Song and Dance" takes place on March 8 between 10am and 4pm, with refreshments at lunchtime. More details from Marie or Barbara at the centre on 681411.
