A GROUP of pensioners waiting in Preston's bus station were drenched by teenagers wielding powerful water blaster guns.
The six young thugs terrorised the elderly folk as they waited for the bus a night out playing bingo.
But what's worse is the waiting passengers fear the water guns were filled with urine.
The youngsters dashed around the bus station, spraying members of the public with the huge water pistols, for more than 10 minutes.
One of the pensioners, who was waiting to catch a bus to Lea, says nothing was done to stop the youngsters. The woman, who goes to Buckingham Bingo every Wednesday, said: "At first it looked like they were mucking around, spraying each other.
"But they started running past the stands squirting everyone in sight. They weren't playing with little water pistols like my children had, these things were huge and were strapped to their backs."
She added: "They were laughing and two of them pointed the guns at me, giving me a soaking.
"Because I had been to bingo, I had my best coat on. It was drenched and smells as though they's squirted me with urine. I felt physically sick when I got home. It was so degrading.
"I won't be going to bingo again unless I can afford a taxi."
Preston's bus station has become a notorious crime blackspot after dark.
Peter Bell, Preston Bus managing director, said: "If an incident of this nature is reported to one of our staff, we would report it to the security staff who are employed by Preston Borough Council.
"This is exactly the kind of incident which we will be able to crackdown on when CCTV is installed on the bus station. That has been paid for by the council and bus operators."
