CATERING trainees were congratulated after achieving the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health certificate in basic food hygiene. They took part in a bi-lingual course run by Burnley training and Employment Access Point in Brougham Street and received their certificates from Burnley's deputy council leader Coun Rafique Malik.
Successful trainees were: Fiaz Ahmad, Shafique Ali, Faisal Bashir, Mohammed Butt, Arif Chaudhry, Mohammed Yossaf, Mujahid Ullah, Mohammad Shafique, Mohammed Rauf, Mohammed Mirza, Lal Miah, Jillu Miah, M Aftab Hussain, Muhammad Haque, Nasir Mahmood, Mohammed Iqbal, Mohammad Khan.
The course was one of a number of customised training events run by the Training and Employment Access Point, which is funded by the European Social Fund, ELTEC and supported by Burnley's Challenge Fund.
