OWENS Corning have stolen a march on their rivals at the top of the Warrington and District League Premier Division.
While many games were postponed Owens defeated Moorfield 5-4 to extend their lead.
Vulcan Newton maintained their Division One title chase with a 5-1 hammering of Grappenhall Sports. Fellow Newton side, Sasib, suffered a 6-1 beating at the hands of Irlam Catholic Club.

Premier Division: Owens Corning 5 Moorfield 4.
Division One: Irlam Catholic 6 Sasib 1, Grappenhall Sports 1 Vulcan Newton 5.
Reserve Division One: Daten Res 0 Haydock Res 0.
Reserve Division Two: Greenalls Res 2 Beeches Res 2, Vulcan Res 1 Rainhill Town Res 2.
Reserve Division Three: Wood Albion Res 4 Winwick United Res 2, St Albans Bank Quay Res 4 Burtonwood Res 2.
