ONE of the area's major rally teams will lead the cars off the start ramp on next weekend's Malcolm Wilson Rally.
Team Penguin will start the prestigious rally at Cockermouth which is in its 25th year.
Running at the front of the field, in a Teng Tools-backed Skoda Felicia, identical to one used to win class on last year's Scottish rally, will be Carnforth's Steve Head and Andrew Dugdale.
"We will be running as the course opening car at the front of field," explained Head. "That means we will be checking the stages for safety and making sure spectators are in safe places. Although we are not actually competing in the rally, this is an ideal opportunity for us to prepare for the new season and we will be travelling at competitive speeds."
