GARSWOOD staged a great comeback to clinch a 2-1 victory at Whitchurch on Saturday.
They trailed 1-0 at the break, but they hit back in the second half when Stephen Nugent headed home Stevn Starr's cross.
And the winner came when a header by the impressive John Dagnall looped over the home 'keeper.
Meanwhile, the reserves suffered a 9-0 mauling at the hands of Flixton. Man of the match was Paul Goulding.
