CROWD favourite Kenny Takano has joined rivals Southport.
The 23-year-old left sided player made his debut for Southport at the weekend.
Meanwhile the Shrimps, now 12 games without a win, face Altrincham at home on Saturday.
For Harvey it's back to the day job after being on international duty at Luxembourg as assistant manager last night.
Aside from Takano there were a couple more changes to Morecambe's starting line-up against Welling on Saturday. Garry Thompson was rewarded with a start after last week's game against Nuneaton and Steve McIlhargey was preferred to Andy Banks.
Harvey must have also been pleased with 17-year-old John Hardicker's performance after he was brought on in place of injured Andy Farrell. Hardicker showed maturity well beyond his years and put in an outstanding performance to keep the Welling strikers very quiet.
Morecambe's best chance of many came after 75 minutes. Garry Thompson's shot had beaten Paul Wilkerson but stopped dead on the goal-line.
There are now just three points separating Morecambe and the six teams below them, one of which is Altrincham.
Team: McIlhargey, Fensome, Brown, McKearney, Farrell (Hardicker 19), McGuire, Thompson (Lyons 76), Drummond, Jackson, Hardy (Keeling 45), Heald.
Morecambe's match at Rushden & Diamonds will be played on Tuesday, March 14.
Injured players Phil Eastwood and Michael Knowles are both in with a chance of being fit to play on Saturday.
