BRIG manager Tony Greenwood is not breaking out the champagne after his side's two wins this week just yet.
Greenwood believes his side played some of their best football this season, but has revealed he won't be celebrating the change of form.
He said: "We said that we had turned the corner when we beat Gainsborough and Lancaster in the cup. Then we got stuffed by Gateshead. So this time, we're not getting carried away.
"But things are looking better. We've been playing tighter at the back and it was a good three points on Saturday."
Brig put on a wonderful display to win 4-2 at Guiseley.
Nigel Muttick was forced to make saves from Steve Aspinall and Simon Burton before Nigel Greenwood headed the visitors in front.
Greenwood was brought down by Matt Daly shortly before the break and Daly was red-carded.
Defender Darren Brown blasted Brig into a 2-0 lead shortly after the break. Des Hazell pulled one back but Dave Carroll restored the visitors' lead. Parke retaliated but Andy Whittaker sealed the win in the final minutes.
Brig face Barrow on Tuesday in the semi-final of the FA Marsden Trophy after beating Clitheroe 2-0 in a controversial result.
Brig needed extra time to see off their opponents and a disputed penalty from Steve Aspinall put them in the lead.
Caerwyn Williams notched the visitors' second.
The semi-final was due to be played this week - but due to a fixture pile up had to be put back.
Greenwood added: "We have had quite a lot of games called off this season, but we're getting back into the spirit."
For the Droylsden game on Saturday, Mark Jones is looking unlikely with a thigh injury and Mick Noblett is in America until Sunday.
Keeper Craig Dootson is back in contention which will give Greenwood a selection headache, following good performances from reserve keepers Alex Harrison and Paul Horridge, on loan from Barrow.
