THE World of Glass, the town's newest visitor attraction, has a vacancy for a wizard to keep kids entertained when it opens its doors next month.
The successful applicant will be provided with all the trappings of wizardry, including a long flowing cloak, mystical hat, silver beard and crystal ball.
The wizard, who will be called Filigrano, will entertain the hundreds of youngsters who are expected to visit The World of Glass and help them to learn more about one of the most versatile materials in use today.
Marketing director, Rachael West, said: "Ideally, the person we're looking for will have some acting skills as well as experience of entertaining children.
"We would also want them to be able to do a few magical tricks, but we're not looking for another Paul Daniels. If Filigrano fumbles the odd trick it will only add to his charm."
Anyone interested in the job as Filigrano, should apply to: Rachael West, Marketing Director, The World of Glass, Chalon Way East, St Helens, Merseyside, WA10 1BX.
