STEVE McMahon is contemplating making Blackpool's home games away matches, following the Tangerine's victory at Cambridge on Saturday (February 19), writes Chris Dixon.
Macca joked about sending his players up the M6 for a few hours travelling before home games, making them arrive at the ground as though they are the visiting team.
He said: "I'm going to put the players on a bus before our next home game. We'll take them down the road and bring them to the ground like an away match.
"But what a magnificent result at Cambridge. It was a very important result given that we can't win at home.
"We looked a good team; organised and hungry.
"The players worked hard, closed their opponents down and they chased the ball throughout the match.
"I was disappointed in the first-half though. We had the chances to win the game and could have been 3-0 up when the whistle went." Gone were McMahon's harsh words of the previous week. Here was a manager content with his side's performance - and a man with no injury worries or suspensions for Saturday's clash against Bournemouth (February 26).
John Hills clashed with keeper Kelly and was taken off, but no serious damage was done.
"John got a knock so we took him off as a precaution," McMahon said. "But he has had a few days of treatment and will be making the trip to Bournemouth with us."
And with Ian Hughes back to fitness, the Seasiders are only missing striker Brett Ormerod, who is making good progress on getting back to fitness from a broken leg.
RUMOURS over possible moves into and out of Bloomfield Road are starting to spread with the transfer deadline looming.
Bolton and Northern Ireland 'keeper Keith Brannagan is out of favour with his club side and could be on his way from the Reebok stadium on a free transfer.
Brannagan is said to have caught the eye of McMahon, as has Stockport striker Brett Angel, recently told he could leave his club on a free.
