A DELIGHTED woman has said a big thank you to eagle eyed Jessica Hurley.
Six-year-old Jessica (pictured), from Roe Lee, Blackburn, who is a member of Revidge Fold Rainbows, spotted the £1,300 diamond on the floor of her local church.
And thanks to an appeal in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph the diamond has been reunited with its rightful owner.
The lady, who did not want to be named, called at Jessica's home to discover the gem was the one which had fallen out of her ring while she was at the church.
And as a thank you to Jessica, the woman bought her a necklace and a big bunch of flowers.
Mum Caroline said: "Jessica was absolutely thrilled to get the gifts and it was a lovely gesture."
