PROTESTERS battling against the use of controversial Cemfuel at a nearby cement works continued to wage their war at a village meeting.
Chatburn Parish Council set up an information gathering meeting with representatives from Castle Cement, HM Inspectorate of Pollution and the Atomic Energy Authority who carried out the most recent set of tests on the chemical waste fuel being burned in Castle's kilns.
