BURY'S young manager Andy Preece faces a difficult month.
After two disastrous results his side now face a series of games against the division's leading clubs.
And Preece's major problem is not difficult to spot, converting chances at critical times is an area which once again let down the Shakers.
Bury dominated the opening half at Wycombe, Paul Barnes had an effort cleared from the line and the frustrating Adrian Littlejohn failed to make the most of several opportunities.
But once Shaun Devine had put the home side ahead, Bury faded and Wycombe went on to win comfortably.
Devine completed a hat-trick and the Shakers boss missed a penalty.
