STAFF at Asda, Burnley, are intrigued by two large rolls of photographs found on the car park of the superstore.
One roll contains about 100 photographs and the other about 50.
All the pictures are black and white and cover a whole range of subjects including people, scenes and animals.
Pam Ferguson, manager's secretary, said the photographs were found in a McDonald's bag on Saturday at the Princess Way side of the car park furthest away from Burnley centre.
She said: "They look as though they are the work of a professional or semi-professional photographer or perhaps a student of photography.
"I have checked with the police and they have not been reported as lost or stolen."
Anyone who knows who they may belong to is asked to either contact Pam at the store 01282 450033 or Burnley police on 01282 425001.
