A MOTHER with drink problems refused to calm down when police were called to intervene in an argument she was having with her husband, Hyndburn magistrates heard.
Mandy Elizabeth Burton, 27, of Hermitage Street, Rishton, agreed to be bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for 12 months.
David Hartley, prosecuting, said police were called to Burton's home where she was having a row with her husband Jason.
Burton, who was very drunk, was shouting abuse and said she would kill her husband and run off with their two children. She refused to calm down and had to be restrained and arrested.
Peter King, defending, said Burton was a "recovering fringe alcoholic" who sometimes drank a lot, but also went for days without drinking.
He said: "She has spent two days in custody and it has been a most sobering experience for her."
