HARD-UP West Bromwich Albion have clearly fallen on hard times. In fact, it seems as though they have had to scrap their scouting system.
The Midlands club might call it something else but they have written to all Conference, Second and Third Division clubs in what can really only be described as a 'begging letter'.
West Brom secretary Dr John Evans wrote: "We are seeking young players with pace who can improve with experience. I have therefore been asked to write to you to see whether your club has any young players who you believe will make the grade in the First Division and who you are prepared to sell.
"If you are looking for any players at the present time, we have one or two experienced players who we may be able to make available for a reasonable fee or on loan."
So, if you are quick off the mark, get in touch.
