PEN and ink maps by local historian John B Taylor will be on display at Groundwork Rossendale countryside centre, Newhallhey, Rawtenstall, on Sunday afternoon.
"In the footsteps of history" shows off the skills and knowledge of Mr Taylor whose superb maps and information sheets have made an enormous contribution to Rossendale guided walks.
Many people even go on the walks to collect the handouts, some even framing them to display at home.
His works capture the historical details of Rossendale and many of his best illustrations will be on display.
An on-going piece of work is to collate information on all the old ramblers' tea rooms to add to the maps and illustrated sheets.
Anyone with information about particular tea rooms is asked to contact John on 01707 211421.
