SWINTON LIONS face the massive task of bouncing back from last week's demoralising defeat against Keighley when they travel to face top four side Doncaster Dragons on Sunday.
And coach Mike Gregory is still beset by injury problems as he contemplates his line-up.
Gregory has had time to think since last Sunday's 34-12 defeat and is still holding the reins, despite indicating that he was close to resigning at the end of the Keighley game.
His disappointment with his players was obvious and wholesale changes would come as no surprise on Sunday.
However, Gregory's hands may be tied by injury problems and his team selection may be a lot more straightforward than it could have been.
Second rower Andy Coley has been ruled out for the rest of the season. He faces a cruciate ligament operation next week after making a surprise return against the Cougars.
Coley had previously been laid low with a knee injury since the Challenge Cup game against St Helens on February 13.
Centre Paul Loughlin was also seeing a specialist and may need an ankle operation, while Steve Gartland's return from injury was hampered by a little soreness after Sunday's game.
