I THINK its absolutely dreadful that any money will be spent on planting dead trees upside down in the name of art when live trees could be planted.
This is sheer stupidity. We are already destroying the earth in the name of commerce, surely we don't have to start doing so in the name of 'art'.
The people spending this money and Mr Kent are being completely irresponsible. Haven't the council noticed that many of trees in Lancaster and the surrounding area are suffering from some kind of fungal disease. Surely saving these and planting more would be a better message for the millennium.
