I WRITE regarding this so-called art project on Lune banks.
Like the lady from Halton, I think this project is absolutely stupid and a terrible waste of money.
What is wrong with our council that they can waste money on projects like this when so much in the area needs attention?
What about Lancaster Bus Station, Kingsway, Bubbles, the interior of the Winter Gardens and so many other things which need cash! I agree that the money would be better spent on new trees and not upside down dead ones! If you have any money to spare we could do with some replacement trees in the shrubbery at the top of our street. Why waste our community charge on stupid projects such as this?
