A WALKING guide to the Leigh's historic centre is to be published in time for Easter.
The council is producing the Leigh Town Centre Trail, which will celebrate the town's fascinating history, architecture and townscape over two walks.
It will be illustrated with maps and old and modern pictures and drawings.
Planning chairman John HIlton, said: "I am thrilled by the advanced proofs. Anyone who is interested in the town's history and architecture will have a real treat this Easter."
The guide is £3 and will be on sale shortly, when further details will be announced.
