BRITANNIA produced a final flourish to reach the Sharman Cup Final in the Leigh & District Amateur Football League.
They won a penalty shootout 3-1 to overcome Division Two champs Leigh Sportsmen after it finished 2-2.
Steve Isherwood hit a double for Sportsmen, Mark Broli and Chris Mulcahy were on target for the Brits.
Sir Charles Napier were also semi winners, beating Atherton C&N 2-1 with goals from Roy Marsh and Mick Musins; Mark Smith replied.
In Division One AFC Limelight beat Union Arms 2-1 (Chris Bibby, Gary Leatherbarrow; Jason Marron); Royal Oak won 5-4 at Bowling Green Eagles (Paul Forshaw, Stuart Walsh 2, Mark Toothill; Paul Taylor, Johnathan Parr, Tony Halliwell, Mark McHugh 2); Angel beat Hag Fold WMC (Martin Kendrick, Rob Supelsa; Dave Pike); Leigh Phoenix beat Church Inn 4-3 (Dennis Hilton, Scott Mulcrow 3; Mark Spencer (pen), Gary Nugent 2).
