YOUNGSTERS are looking forward exploring extra facilities in the outdoor area at their nursery school.
Volunteers from Blackburn Groundwork Trust have been installing tyres, stepping stones, bench seats and trees as part of a long running improvement project at Chapels Nursery School in Winterton Road, Darwen.
Headteacher Cheryl Hill said: "The area is coming on in leaps and bounds. We are really grateful to Groundwork."
Adam Holt and James Sweeney of Groundwork are pictured with some of the children.
