BOWLAND County High School pupils are presenting their annual show to sell out audiences.
This year's musical, entitled Pump Up the Volume, sees Enid Blyton's Famous Five travelling through the shelves of a magical library, hot on the trail of a gang of dastardly villains.
As the five visit various reading sections looking for clues to track down the fiends, characters from an array of books spring to life and assist the heroes in their mission.
Invaluable help from Bookworm, played by John Chew, and a string of fictional characters including strongmen, clowns, animals and dancers, prove too much for the baddies and are inevitably apprehended and banished forever into cyber space.
The show started on Wednesday and finishes tonight.
