I FEEL badly served by Blackburn with Darwen Council.
At the rear of my home, application was made by the owner of adjoining premises for an extension; this was duly approved by the planning sub-committee.
I had submitted an objection, claiming this would restrict daylight and sunlight to me.
I have subsequently written to the chairman, Councillor Frank Connor and to the director of technical services Mr A Peake, to state my disappointment, pointing out that not one of the 10-man committee bothered to visit me to assess my viewpoint.
I have not received the courtesy of a reply to my letters.
Everything was decided in the comfort of the council offices.
FRANK LESLIE, Audley Lane, Blackburn.
