IF you have lost a Staffordshire Bull terrier, a Newton businesswoman could have good news for you.
Joanne Hopwood, who runs Sound System Computers in Market Street, Earlestown, found the dog near to her shop on Saturday afternoon, April 1.
She told the Star: "He is a beautiful dog and in excellent condition. Someone has obviously looked after him very well. He has been checked over by the vet and apparently is aged between three and six and has, at one time, suffered an injury to one of his back legs. He is at my home at the moment but he is really fretting for his owners."
The dog is a tan colour with white under his chin and had no collar or other form of identification.
If you recognise its description, you can get in touch with Joanne at work on 01925 299901 or at home on 01925 292473.
