A MAN needed hospital treament for cuts and bruises after being set upon by an attacker who then made off with his car!
The incident happened at about 6.30am on Sunday, April 2, at 6.30am when the 33-year-old victim went out to check his car outside his home in Lyneham, Whiston. As he did so, he was approached by another man who demanded the keys to the vehicle.
When the car-owner refused, the man punched him to the ground and kicked him in the face and head before driving off in the car.
The victim was taken to Whiston Hospital, where he received treatment for cuts and bruises to his face and head. His car, a black, F-registered Ford Fiesta, was later found in the Huyton area.
The thief is described as aged about 25 years and 6ft tall with a slim build. He was wearing a brown, hooded jacket.
