A BLUEPRINT for Pendle's future has been published.
The new report shows how the council will tackle key issues such as community safety and winning millions of pounds of investment.
The document also includes a summary of how the authority has done in meeting performance and service targets.
It is included in the council's newsletter to residents, Pendle News, and is available from town halls, libraries and leisure centres or by telephoning 01282 661984.
The authority's corporate policy manager, Brian Astin, who put together the plan, said: "It puts the council under the microscope to show how it's performing against national targets and sets out how the council will be meeting the Government's bid to ensure best value services for local people."
The performances figures included:
Over 86 per cent in a survey of 1,600 people rated council staff good or very good in terms of friendliness and helpfulness.
The council spends more than average on street cleaning and more per head of population, £12.38 is the target this year, on leisure centres than other authorities.
Ten per cent of waste collected is recycled and almost one third of new homes are built on previously developed sites.
