AN Easter course on 2,000 years of shaping Britain will be held at Alston Hall College, Longridge, from Thursday, April 20 to Monday April 24.
The course, to mark the millennium, will begin with the Romans and their occupation of north west England and then continue the theme by looking at the Norman Conquest and its impact in this region.
The tutors will be Dr David Shotter, Dr Mary Higham, Peter Layzell, Colin Dickinson, Roy Scott and the Rev Arthur Siddall of St Bartholomew's Church, Chipping and St Michael's Church, Whitewell.
