A PENWORTHAM woman is hoping that a new inquiry into the sinking of the MVDerbyshire will reveal what really happened in the tragedy.
Margaret Noblett's son was one of the crew members who died when the tanker sank off the coast of Japan in 1980.
The original conclusion was that Typhoon Orchid overwhelmed the vessel, but scientists now believe the ship was "ill prepared" for the storm.
