A DEEP pan pizza tossed Mohammed Nassir Nassib from the frying pan into the fire.
Blackburn magistrates heard that by stopping for his pizza, Nassib missed his midnight curfew and ended up simmering in police cells for the rest of the night.
Nassib, 20, of Snow Street, Blackburn, admitted being in breach of bail by arriving home at 12.10am.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said Nassib had been playing snooker and called for a pizza. He was seen by a police officer, outside his curfew.
He got home and rang the police station and admitted his breach. He was arrested and kept in custody to appear in court the following day.
Richard Mitcalf, prosecuting, said a night in the cells would be enough to remind Nassib of his obligations.
Nassib faces an assault charge at crown court.
