MURDER inquiry detectives are still interviewing a teenager in connection with the death of a Prestwich man.
The badly decomposed boy of Mr Michael Cutler (43), was discovered over the weekend in a second floor apartment at Beech Croft in Sedgley Park Road. Inquiries by Rochdale detectives led them to the North East of England where they arrested a 19-year-old man.
He was brought to Rochdale on Wednesday (April 12) and was still being questioned by police the following day.
Officers have launched a nationwide appeal to trace relatives of Mr Cutler whose body lay undiscovered for two weeks. It is believed Mr Cutler, who was born in Germany, may have family in the south of England. He had only recently moved from the Hartlepool area to Prestwich.
