A NEW Code of Best Practice for the UK's personal injury process is set to help personal injury victims get immediate rehabilitation benefits at no added cost to them.
The new Code will encourage personal injury claimants to receive the immediate medical and non-medical treatment necessary to assist their physical and mental recovery.
This will replace the current procedure of waiting until the claim is fully settled before receiving rehabilitation.
Peter Meloy, of Preston law firm Meloy Whittle Robinson, said: "Employers will also benefit greatly through getting their injured workers back into the workplace quicker than normal, and at no added cost to the claimant or employer."
