PUPILS from North Cliffe School, in Great Harwood, took part in the bricklaying module of a vocational course, which is linked with Accrington and Rossendale College.
Each module runs for about 10 weeks -- the first involved plumbing and the third will be painting and decorating or sports and recreation.
About 10 year-11 pupils attended the course, which is run at the college one afternoon a week.
Students pictured hard at work are (from left), Uzear Mohammed, Ebrahim Mulla, Michael O'Shaughnessy, course tutor Gary Handford, Byron Brown, John Harris, Tony Paul, laying bricks, and director of curriculum Margot Clarke.
