RUBBISH was talked at a meetiing of Friends of the Earth -- or rather, how we deal with it.
Stuart Hammond, Blackburn with Darwen Council recycling officer, and Sue Proctor, Lancashire County Council waste management co-ordinator, were guests at a meeting of Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Friends of the Earth at Whalley village hall.
They talked on waste and recycling and answered queries on subjects ranging from incineration to fly-tipping.
They are pictured with FoE branch chairman Dave Mortimer (left).
