TWO big developments in Lancaster will go before city planners on Monday.
A Lancashire developer, Persimmon Homes, hopes to develop 11 three-storey town houses and 48 apartments with a private road and car parking close to the city centre.
The ambitious scheme on open land between Damside Street and Water Street will see the apartments built around an internal court yard and the town houses facing the River Lune.
The proposed multi-million pound Chicago Rock Cafe on the corner of Church Street and New Street has been recommended by officers.
The themed cafe bar and restaurant will be developed by Luminar Leisure, the company behind the new Liquid Nightclub at the former Waring & Gillow building.
