LEIGH ATHLETIC are hoping for better times ahead.
They go into Sunday's Carlsberg Cup semi-final at Anfield on the back of a string of poor performances.
In three games they have played like a team with their minds already on cup action.
But manager Andy Pickles is confident he will get the right reaction this weekend.
On the plus side three of his senior players are now looking fit after struggling with injuries. Skipper Gordy Walker, Jimmy Evans and Rick Wilson will all make Sunday's squad.
With Wembley beckoning, Pickles will demand a top game based on discipline and confidence.
Tickets are available at Leigh Harriers any night this week -- and they are free.
No tickets will be available at Anfield for the match, which kicks off at 3.45pm.
