CHILDREN will have to think 50 years ahead for a new competition.
The theme for this year's Royal Mail Young Writers' contest is Break Time 2050.
Youngsters of all ages are being asked to imagine what their grandchildren will be doing with their spare time half way through the new century -- and send their ideas to the Royal Mail.
Entries will be judged in regional heats across five agegroups.
There are top cash prizes for the winners in each age group, first £300, second £200 and third £100.
The winners' schools will also receive cash prizes, and the winners will be invited to an awards ceremony in London.
Closing date for entries is April 20. Details and entry forms are available from the Break Time 2050 helpline on 01634 296617 or on the competition website address: royalmail.co.uk/breaktime.
