Mrs Avis Freeman is seeking information on the history of the long embroidered panel which was displayed in the hall.

More than 200 former pupils, including head girls, and 20 staff members attended this year's reunion dinner in the Formby Hall, Atherton, on Friday.
Friendships were renewed with links there from Australia, Canada, the Isle of Wight, Yorkshire, Wales and Scotland.
The display of old photographs once again stimulated discussion and evoked memories of hockey matches, pet shows, teachers and lessons.
The Leigh Millennium calendar was viewed and the photograph of old girl Rita Collier, of Colliers' Photographic Shop, who died last October was a poignant reminder of a reunion friend.
The school building in Windermere Road will be open to old girls again on Friday afternoon, June 23, from 1.30pm onwards, using the girls' entrance from the schoolyard.
