FOLLOWING a couple of consecutive defeats away from home, Bury will be anxious to get back to winning ways when they entertain bottom club Chesterfield at Gigg Lane.
The Spireites have sacked long serving manager John Duncan since the Shakers' win at Saltergate in late March, and former player at both clubs Danny Wilson, is a name being linked to the managerial post, again, at both clubs.
However, the infamous Bury finances will almost certainly ensure that Andy Preece retains the reigns at Gigg Lane and the increasingly popular and engaging Preece will probably bring some experience back to his defensive line up, which has been the youngest in living memory.
Both Chris Swailes and Paul Williams played in a victorious reserve side during the week, and Williams, at least, is expected to return, but Lutel James has finally departed for the season on international duty in St Kitts.
