IT'S the grudge match of the year down Haydock way.
Staff at the giant Sainsbury depot are taking on the management in what promises to be a no-holds-barred rugby match.
But all the bumps and bruises will all be worthwhile. For the game is one of the highlights of Sainsbury's Millennium Fun Day, which aims to raise cash for the Friends of Chernobyl's Children charity.
It's hoped Saints star Sean Long will kick-off the match at Haydock Cricket Club on Easter Saturday, April 22. But there are plenty of other attractions -- starting at 10am -- including the Wish FM roadshow, bouncy castles, clowns, face-painting and a schools Easter bonnet parade.
There will also be a tug-of-war competition and organisers are looking for teams to take part. Entry forms are available from Haydock Cricket Club.
