THE final home League game of the season, against Manchester City on Sunday, May 7 (kick-off 1.30pm), has been designated an all-ticket fixture. Seats will not be available on the day of the match.
From Monday, tickets will go on restricted sale to season-ticket holders, who are allowed to purchase one per book, and Rovers supporters who have bought tickets for two home League games played before April 15.
It is a maximum of one ticket per person (four per booking).
From April 26, tickets will be available to supporters with one match stub. All tickets bought must be intended for use by home fans only.
Usual prices apply, adults £15-20, senior citizens £10 and juniors £8 where applicable.
Rovers supporters should note that there will not be any seats available in the Darwen End.
YOUNG Ewood keeper David Stevenson has completed a quartet of Rovers players in the England under-15 squad.
After victory over Holland and a draw with Italy, Stevenson has joined Andrew Bell, Ciaran Donnelly and Jerome Watt in the squad. Bell, who scored the winner against Holland, featured in both games, as did Donnelly. Watt was injured or would have been involved against Italy.
THERE are three remaining games in the FA Premier Reserve League (North) -- all at Ewood. Rovers face Sunderland next Tuesday, April 18, Newcastle on Tuesday, April 25, and Everton on Wednesday, May 3. All kick-off times are 7pm.
SEATS are now on open sale for Rovers' two remaining away fixtures in Division One. Next Saturday, April 22 (3pm), Rovers go to Grimsby and seats are priced £14 adults, £8 juniors and senior citizens.
The visitors' section is in the Osmond Stand, behind one of the goals, and tickets, subject to availability, will also be on sale on the day of the game.
Tickets for the final away match, at Crystal Palace on Saturday, April 29 (3pm), are priced £20 adults, £12 juniors and senior citizens. Seats are in the Arthur Waite Stand, which is along one side of the pitch and tickets will be available on the day with concessions.
DESPITE the international friendlies, the Easter Monday game at home to championship favourites Charlton Athletic (3pm) goes ahead as scheduled.
Tickets are now on open sale with a special offer. In the upper tier of the Darwen End, children can buy tickets for just £1, adults £15 and senior citizens £10. The offer is not available on the day of the game and is subject to availability.
Otherwise, normal prices apply with adults £15-20, senior citizens £10 and juniors £8 where applicable.
THE Coral odds for first goalscorer in this afternoon's match against Portsmouth were not very generous given the record of Rovers' strikers this season.
Ashley Ward (4-1) and Egil Ostenstad (9-2) and Nathan Blake (9-2) were the favourites to break the deadlock, with Damien Duff looking a much better proposition at 10-1.
Portsmouth duo Steve Claridge (8-1) and Lee Bradbury (8-1) were much more favourably priced than their Ewood counterparts. Though Claridge is unlikely to have a flutter on himself following this week's verdict from the Football Association. The striker was fined for backing Pompey to beat Barnsley, which they did -- 3-0 thanks to a Claridge hat-trick!
ALAN Kelly is still the Opta Index leader as far as Nationwide League First Division keepers are concerned, but he has a new challenger. Huddersfield's Belgian keeper Nico Vaesen had moved to within just a couple of points of Kelly prior to last night's crucial promotion game against Charlton.
