THE Prime Minister in a recent speech last week said that waiting lists for in-patients have gone down.
What Mr Blair omitted to mention was that you can't go on an in-patient list until you have seen a consultant.
The number of people waiting for their first appointment with a consultant has risen from 248,000 to 517,000 since Labour were elected to office in May, 1997.
