SPRING is the busiest time in the garden, but for arthritis sufferers, it's also the most painful time.
Now help is at hand, in the Arthritis Research Campaign's booklet, Gardening and Arthritis.
It shows how you can carry on gardening, suggesting ways of protecting joints and muscles from unnecessary strain by careful planning to ensure that your garden is filled with shrubs and plants that need less attention than annual bedding plants.
