DEFENDER Craig Short, who made a welcome return from injury in Saturday's draw with Portsmouth, believes big can be beautiful as far as Rovers are concerned in their last few League fixtures.
Foir the remaining visitors to Ewood are the First Division's 'big two'.
"We just have to be thankful that our last two home matches are against Charlton and Manchester City," said Short after what turned out to be a non-event against Portsmouth.
"There should be a good atmosphere, we will be playing against two very good sides and it will help to give a bit of meaning to the game.
"We also want to turn them both over because it looks as though they could both go up.
"Saturday was a very low-key game and we let our standards drop. The manager said that to us afterwards.
"Sometimes players make mistakes and have bad games but our attitude probably was not as right as it should have been. We started off poorly and never really got going. Maybe we should take a few more risks at times. You can get caught in between trying to play too much football and the complete oppositie, playing a lot of route one stuff and that's when we are at our worst.
"I'm just thankful the last two home games are against the top clubs."
