A BURNLEY girl has proved to be a real dancing queen in a national competition.
Nicole McIntosh (pictured) took the dance floor by storm after winning the Under 10s round of the British Isles Disco Dancing Championships in Prestatyn, North Wales.
The win comes just a year after she scooped the Under Eight's section of the same competition.
Heasandford County Primary School pupil Nicole also won the Under 10s double competition with her seven-year-old dance partner, Robert Savage.
Nicole, who is also the Under 10s North West Masters Champion, has danced at Sanderson's Dance School on the Lomeshaye Industrial Estate for three years, under the guidance of teacher Vicki Greenwood.
Vicki said: "She has done fantastically well in the last 12 months. She's one of the top dancers in the country for her age group."
