SEVEN Prince's Trust Volunteers from Burnley and Pendle will receive awards for 12 months of hard work in front of thousands of people on Saturday.
The Team Five group will be presented with their final certificates at half time in the Burnley v Millwall match, by Burnley fan Alastair Campbell.
This will mark the end of a 12-month programme of activities, including three courses with the fire brigade, which included basic fire safety, leadership skills and first aid.
The group of 16 to 23 year-olds also received certificates from Nelson and Colne College for an IT course and a Webwise course, as well as a City and Guilds profile achievement certificate.
Another part of the scheme is a community project which involved decorating the one-stop-shop community centre in Burnley Wood.
It was opened by Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondalgh on April 1.
Their final challenge was to organise trips for adults with learning difficulties from Brook and Beach House.
The volunteers are sponsored by Burnley Football Club.
Anyone aged between 16 and 25, who wants to join Team Six on May 30, should call team leader Gordon Cassie on 01282 866357 or write to the Prince's Trust Volunteers, 1 Great George Street, Colne, BB8 0SQ.
