AN eggcellent time was had by all at an Eggstravaganza fun day, with plenty of fun competitions and games.
The Easter fun day at Baxenden CE Primary School for pupils, as well as parents and friends, and was organised by the Friends of Baxenden School.
There were 70 entrants in the egg decorating competition, and there was also a decorated hat competition, egg rolling, egg-and-spoon races, as well as beat the goalie, netball, lucky dip, and cakes and crafts.
The children competed for Easter eggs, and about 400 people, including the pupils, enjoyed the day.
John Howard, headteacher, said: "It has been an absolutely wonderful day, and all the proceeds will go towards school funds."
