AS a senior citizen, I am amazed that Burnley FC have issued a notice that all discount season tickets have to be obtained before the end of April, when in other years, it has been June.
I, like many other fans, are waiting to see them go up to the First Division first, because I could not stand to see the same teams come again, year after year -- it gets monotonous.
By my reckoning Burnley are pulling a fast one just in case they don't make it.
Another thing that amazes me is that they pay Ian Wright a reported £6,000 per week and yet all we see of him is 10 minutes before the end of the match.
I would like to see him put in a full match and then I will be able to judge him for what he is supposed to be.
To me, to pay a footballer all that money for so short a time is obscene.
