THE Lancashire Students' Symphony Orchestra will be performing alongside leading organist Jennifer Bate at Blackburn Cathedral later this month.
The event, organised by the Millennium Organ Project, takes place on Sunday April 30.
It is hoped the event will attract a full house, and is open to people of all faiths.
David Smalley, honorary secretary of the Millennium Organ Project, said: "It just happens the best organ in this area is in the cathedral, but the project is intended for people, especially young people, of all faiths and backgrounds.
"It is possible that the organ in the King George's Hall could be used in the future."
Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are £6, or £5 for patrons and concessions. Children can get in for £3.
They are available by calling 01254 812439 or 01257 234450 or from the cathedral gift shop.
The Millennium Organ Project was set up to raise the profile of the classical organ in the North West, especially among young people.
